Shipping from China to United States

Ocean, air and door-to-door plans from China to US ports, airports, FBA centers and commercial warehouses.

How China-to-United States freight is planned.

China-to-US freight is normally planned through an ocean, air or express gateway, followed by US customs release and scheduled delivery to an FBA center, 3PL or commercial address. The importer, bond, classification and any agency controls should be ready before departure.

Ocean18-35 days

Typical port-to-port planning range. Final delivery and clearance are confirmed separately.

Air3-8 days

Typical airport-to-airport planning range. Final delivery and clearance are confirmed separately.

Express2-6 business days

For eligible smaller shipments. Final delivery and clearance are confirmed separately.

Planning ranges are not guarantees and can change with carrier schedules, season, cargo readiness, customs and delivery appointments.

Resolve the route-specific risks before departure.

Record the owner, evidence and cutoff for every item. Reopen the decision when the cargo, importer or delivery instructions change.

  • Confirm the US importer of record and customs bond
  • Review HTS classification, Section 301 and product-agency exposure
  • Match the gateway to the final postcode and live carrier schedule
  • Keep an FBA or 3PL appointment buffer after customs release

Port, airport and inland options.

The best gateway depends on the supplier location, carrier schedule, final delivery point and cargo characteristics.

  • Los Angeles / Long Beach
  • New York / New Jersey
  • Savannah
  • Chicago O'Hare
  • Los Angeles LAX

Customs responsibility

The US importer of record must be established before arrival. Entry data, bond coverage, classification and admissibility should be checked with the appointed customs broker.

Tax and compliance

Section 301 duties, FDA, FCC, EPA, CPSC or other agency requirements may apply depending on the product. Duty and agency treatment must be confirmed for the actual HS classification and shipment date.

Last-mile delivery

Delivery can be planned to an Amazon facility, 3PL, commercial dock or eligible business address. FBA and many 3PL deliveries require labels, references and appointments.

Send a complete, comparable shipment brief.

  • Chinese pickup address and supplier contact
  • Destination country, city, postcode or FBA warehouse code
  • Commodity, intended use, value and HS code if known
  • Carton count, finished dimensions, gross weight and volume
  • Incoterm, cargo-ready date and required delivery date
  • Battery, liquid, powder, magnet, wood or oversized-cargo flags

Suitable cargo still requires a commodity check.

  • FBA inventory
  • Consumer goods
  • Electronics
  • Home and garden
  • Commercial components

Before you book China to United States freight.

Can Forest Leopard ship directly to Amazon FBA in the US?+

Yes. The plan can include China pickup, preparation checks, international freight, broker coordination and scheduled FBA delivery. Amazon is not the importer of record.

Is DDP always the best option?+

No. DDP can simplify coordination, but the importer structure, valuation, duties and product compliance still need to be legitimate and documented.

Are transit times guaranteed?+

No. Published ranges are planning estimates. The quote confirms the route, cutoff, expected window and known seasonal risks for the shipment.
